Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken last weekend! Here are some of my favorites:

Boating

I called right when I was leaving the gym after volleyball and Bart told me to meet him and the kids at the willard bay dock soooo...... Here is what we did Sat. night! The water was glass, no wind, and the water wasn't too cold either. OK it was! I didn't have a swimsuit or I probably would have gotten in. (Bart didn't bring suits for me and the kids cuz he figured it'd still be way too cold) I wouldn't get in in my underwear but the kids jumped at the chance. Hence, all the pictures of the kids in their unders. Next time we'll bring suits no matter how cold the water is. Our kids JUST HAVE to get in!!!! Bart skiied and wake boarded quite a lot and Jadon did a great job learning to drive the boat. What a perfect night!!!

Volleyball

Another year of club volleyball has come to an end. I always love coaching and even though we have a long 6 month season, I'm sad it's over. I have had so much fun with these girls at tournaments and practices. They are so athletic and amaze me. Throughout the season they were consistently in the top 3 in their tournament standings and yesterday at the Region Finals we finished 2nd place (out of 52 teams in our division). It was a heart-wrenching loss 12-15 in the 3rd game. But, these girls are only fresh/sophs, they have so much potential!!! Congrats girls.

Hogle Zoo

We went to Hogle Zoo Friday with Jadon and all the first graders at his school. We only had one other kid with us. Jadon's friend, Allerio, came along with us and we had a great time looking at all the animals. The favorite of the day: The crocodiles, giraffs, snakes, insects, the ball that moves on the water, and of course the carousel.

The kids loved the carousel!!!

The insects were a huge hit. The boys thought they were "so cool" Especially the scorpians

Bostyn loved watching the crocodiles. He stood here just staring at them forever!

Yard Work

We went out to Elko a couple weeks ago and helped with yard work and visited with family. We had a really good time and it was fun working on the yard with everyone. The girls all went to a movie Friday night, we worked outside all day Saturday, Sunday after church we just hung out and watched our videos from the cruise. Thanks for the fun weekend everyone. I am so lucky to have such fun in-laws and the kids have so much fun with their cousins. (I left my camera there and just got in back so I'm late with the post)

Bostyn and Tate were so cute! After church they were so ready for their naps but not willing to stop playing cars. They just layed here rolling their cars and trucks around.
Working in the yard!!! (I learned how to use some power tools, look at those boys watch with admiration) :) jk-they were wishing they could just finish the job cuz I was so horrible.

Mother's Day

I am so spoiled!!!
Is it not the most wonderful thing to have Mother's Day and Birthday's??? I just wish I could celebrate one a month! Mother's Day started with sleeping in! The best thing ever!!! Then Bart and Zhoee arrived with a tray of french toast, fruit, scrambled eggs, and orange julius. I was in heaven. Then they brought up a dozen pink roses, a new movie, and a gift certificate for a pedicure/manicure! YES!! Bart made an effort to come home from his morning meetings to help me get the kids ready for church-which I really appreciated. It was so relaxing to have Bart get dinner all ready and let me have a nice nap after church too. I milked it and enjoyed every second of relaxing! Thanks to my wonderful husband and kids. Mother's Day was Perfect. Now I'll just wait for my B-day for my next day to sleep in:)

Tackle Football

Today a note about "real" football was passed out and Jadon couldn't stop talking about playing the older football now that he's almost seven. He went on and on about wearing all the pads and running and tackling people, running with the ball, and scoring touchdowns. When he was talking about tackling he turned to me and asked, "You can punch people too, right!"
