On Thurs. at my Dr. appt. we actually saw the hair on this little thing in the ultrasound. I told my Dr. that all the other three only had some peach fuzz and they aren't in a hurry to grow any within their first year either. He said, "Well, she has enough hair to do something with it." Weird, I've seen plenty of babies born with a full head of hair, just none that belonged to me. She had both hands up by her little face so there were no good pictures.
She weighed in at 6 lbs. So another few weeks and we're done cookin.
Wow, Do you see the 35 days left until this girl pops out?
I was complaining just yesterday that I had 80 days or so, but 35 just seems like too soon.
It's a month. Bostyn was 17 days early so I actually could be looking at 18 days or so. Scary but exciting. We just love her and talk about her all the time. Everytime we talk to her Bart complains we don't know her name yet, but we're having a hard time deciding and agreeing. I'm a little scared for the missed sleep (even more than I'm missing now), keeping Bostyn from attacking her, Zhoee from smothering her, nursing, and getting my body and emotions back together after having a new baby.
I'm not one for posting my pregnant belly (Kels) so maybe you'll have to come up for a visit and see the protruding belly for yourself. :) Maybe late April???
We found strawberries on sale for $1 a 1 lb. case. I bought 12 and 6 are gone after 2 days. We've been eating them like crazy. OH, I crave them, they are so tasty.
Also: I haven't been couponing for quite awhile, so I got all organized and searched the deals and this is how I did: I was a lame-o carrying a calculator with me but I wanted to know what kind of good deal I was actually getting.
I should have spent around$ 76.00, but with store promotions and coupons (a big stack of 'em) my total was under $21.00. I was very impressed with myself.
I got 5 pouches of tuna, 5 lunchables, and 30 cans of dog food totally FREE. SWEET!
Yesterday was Barts birthday and we had so much fun and needed a good excuse to play all day.
We had a yummy birthday breakfast, kidnapped Bart from work to go shopping for his b-day present and get ice cream, had a party at home with pizza, pop, cake and ice cream, and then to the park to fly our new kites. We had a fun day! Bostyn kept asking if it was his birthday party today! Sorry, kid, you'll have to wait for next month. Happy Birthday Bart!!!
She's getting lower and I'm walking funnier. (My Dr. confirmed)
She's very healthy and looking good. She's weighing between 4 1/2 - 5 lbs. It hit me we're getting closer when the Dr. said he'd start checking me in two weeks and I got my packet to register for the hospital. :)
I don't know if it's the beautiful Spring weather or the "nesting stage" but I'm getting some major spring cleaning accomplished today. I mean dusting the tops of all the shelves and pictures, cleaning window sills, windows (inside and out), walls, and all that good stuff that never gets done. I just finished a room and thought it was probably 11am or so, I about died when I looked at the clock and it was 1:15pm. Where has the day gone? Darn day light savings, throws me off.
Zhoee was sick again this morning so I've decided I'd make her stay in bed and drink lots of liquids and rest. I made the HUGE mistake of teaching her how to use the phone intercom system to call me downstairs if she needed anything. Well, as I should have known, she "needs" something every 5 minutes, and I can't get anything done between the phone calls. The last call was just to tell me and Bossy to come up by her because she was feeling lonely. How sweet.
We think Bossy is the one responsible for breaking our camera so I really haven't taken any pictures lately. :( I did get this one of Bostyn is his common sleeping position the other day.

Today Bostyn discovered that boys' can easily pee outside! He's facinated by this remarkable discovery that will let him stay outside playing without the hassle of coming in to use the bathroom! I just peeked on him throught the window while he was playing in the sandbox and he had his pants down working on #2. Seriously, I can't deal with poop when I'm pregnant, I gag everytime and Bart just laughs. YUCK, boys are something else.
We currently have NO kids in diapers! Life hasn't been this way since before Jadon was born!! Does anyone else have a garbage sitting outside their garage door just for diapers.??? Our is gone and it's been so nice! and it smells a little better when we go out to the cars. I have 9 more weeks of this joy!!!
We were able to get a cute picture of her face this time! It wasn't burried in my back like before.
She still has a large round head and is measuring long legs. She sounds just like her sister. She weighs 3 1/2 lbs. now and the Dr. estimated she would weigh 8 1/2 lbs. if I went to my due date. I told him I hope I don't! (just a week early would be GREAT) He said we'd plan on April. She's looking good and I love this little thing so much already.
Bostyn came with me to this appt. and he was so cute, he kept lifting up his shirt to see if he had a baby in there too. Since he has been the the Dr. so much lately for his tubes he kept notifying every nurse and Dr. that he was NOT SICK and they didn't need to check him. CUTE!!!

This is so funny! Bossy started climbing down off the barstool and just fell asleep right there! How cute is that! He must have really been worn out!
These are the three cousins who were all born within a month of each other.
Bart reported that Bostyn fel asleep anywhere, anytime, except in bed at night!!!
Brave Bart loaded up the suburban with our three kids and he took Tate out there too! Either I am the best potty trainer in the world or I have the SMARTEST little boy....
Bossy is doing awesome!!! Totally potty trained. All week, no accidents. Bart took the kids to Elko for the weekend but I stayed for a volleyball tournament and while they were traveling Bostyn told him when he needed to stop to use the toilet I put in the back of the suburban :) He wouldn't go in his pull-up at all. Then Bart said last night Bostyn woke him up at 5am telling him he needed to go pee. Awesome! This little guys caught on so fast and is doing so well!!!!!!! I guess I was due for an easy potty trainer. He really likes underwear... the only problem is he doesn't like pants to cover them up. So we have lots of running around in his undies.
OK, I just noticed on the little baby ticker that I still have 82 days left. That is FOREVER when you can't sleep because your back hurts, you pee every hour of the day, and wake up (from a miserable sleep) to pee at least 3 times, you have a hurnia on your huge pregnant belly that hurts when it's touched, you crave Chinese food constantly, your jealous of your sister-in-law who is due any day, and your house if up for sale so you can't let it get TOO messy!!! Can I make it?
I'll just blame it on pregnancy... But, I've had the most weird, realistic, dreams...AND a craving for pot stickers all week. I finally made them. Yummy. They tasted fantastic!
This is how Bostyn was found FAST ASLEEP IN HIS BED!!! How cute is he? We got a kick out of this and I just couldn't leave his room, I just sat there staring at him. How are we this lucky to have such a sweet, funny little boy?
While we were watching Peter Pan:
Zhoee: "Who do you want to be Mom?"
Me: (knowing she'd want to say she was Wendy) "I'll be the Mermaid wearing blue."
Zhoee: "Oh, you can't be her, I was going to be"
Me: "Ok, I'll be the one in the pink"
Zhoee: "Oh, well you can only be a mermaid if you have a mermaid barbie, and you don't"
Me: "I'll be Tinkerbell, then"
Zhoee: "Oh, Mom, sorry, I'm going to be her too"
Me: "Ok, I'll be Wendy then."
Zhoee: Ok, you can just be the dog then"
My last drs. appt. we tried to get some really good pictures of this little gal but she was quite stubborn. She likes to face right into my back and really didn't want to turn. We got some cute pics of the side of her face and ear and of course her hands are right up by her face. The dr. commented on the large size head she has, and she has VERY long legs!!! Sounds like she' taking after her sister already.
