We LOVE the pool!!!

Dex's Dog Run

Bart just put in a nice new dog area just for Dex!!! Bart is so handy!! This came after Dex chewed through my garden hose, 2 sippy cups, anything and everything the kids left in the yard, and he got a seat cushion to my pation set!!! NEVER AGAIN!

Driving the other day....
Ashlee: Just driving along listening to music
Zhoee: "Oh, excuse me, mom"
Ash: "Oh, what happened"
Zhoee: "Well, it's a little stinky, because I farted a really bad fart. But, it's OK right, because it was a fart that really made my belly feel not sick anymore."

Friday night Bart and I were planning on a movie and dinner and best of all- a Babysitter!!!
Mom: "Dad and I are going to leave soon so I want your room all picked up ready for the babysitter"
Zhoee: In the most gigglyish excited voice " Oh, cuz you and Dad are going on a date to the palace, and your going to dance in your dress"
Mom: well, we're going to the movies.
Zhoee: Leaning in really close for a secret, she whispered, "Maybe you and dad will have a kiss" Then she beamed from cheek to cheek and giggled.

Cedar City

We drove up to Brian Head Peak where the weather was much cooler! Cedar Breaks was a beautiful stop and we, again, liked seeing Cedar and how much it had changed since we lived there. I love going back here, we finished school here and Jadon was born in Cedar. We did a lot of biking and hiking and Bart built Cabins up Cedar Mountain. He built some cabin like, rest stop bathrooms in the canyon and years ago said when our kids come up here with us I'll tell them I built those bathrooms. So, he did just that: he was quite proud to announce to the kids that he built the bathrooms we drove by. Coming home Sunday, we stopped at Cove Fort!!

St. George

We only stayed one night in St. George but we wanted to take the kids for ice cream and to the Temple. The kids were probably so bored and annoyed that while we were there we just liked to drive around and tell the kids about when we lived there. Of course, we only had Jadon when we lived in St. George but Zhoee kept adding to all the memories. "I was in your belly when you guys did that." or "I was still in heaven when you guys went there." It was nice to remenice.

VEGAS

We stayed in Vegas for a few days and then slowly made our way home as we stayed in St. George for one night and Cedar for one night. We mainly stayed in the pool!!!! My parents condo has the most fabulous pools. Small ones, huge ones, volleyball, lazy river, kid pools- we were there from 10:30-5:30 one of the days- and just brought down our lunch in the cooler- The kids couldn't get enough

Carlie flew in to Vegas from her 6 weeks in Africa and Europe so it was fun to see her and hear about her exciting trip. She brought Zhoee back this African dress.

Bossy couldn't get enough of little Adlee! He might just need a little sister:)

Exhausted

This is how I feel most days too! Bossy was just so tired but couldn't make it inside to his bed before his body just quit! I opened the garage door to go find him after we got home from swimming.(he sneaks out to ride his bike all the time) and almost stepped on the poor little guy.

Adlee's visit

Kelsie and Isaac came up for a visit during July to bless Adlee and just have a little visit. The

kids just love Adlee. I was so surprised and how great Bostyn was with her. He was so soft and loved to hold her or just touch her and tell us "baby".

Barts Bike trip-July 2009

Bart and our brother-in-law, Lonny went to southern Utah over the 4th and did some mountain biking. They had a fun time. I was a little jealous- I LOVE visiting southern Utah.
