Look what she can do now.....

On Saturday it all started happening- Our little 3 year old is riding her bike!!!! Jadon started when he was two and riding around like he owned the place on his 3rd birthday. Zhoee doesn't seem to be quite as active and I thought it would take her longer to learn but here she is.......Bart and I follow along with her still because it's a little iffy on if she'll slam into a parked car. She just peddles and SMILES so big!!! Her concentration isn't on her steering she's just thinking"look at me!!!"

Swine Flu?

After watching the news this morning it kinda freaked me out that we were just in Mexico two weeks ago. At first I thought, Oh, we were totally safe because we were in the resort towns. But, while we were there it was very crowded on most of the beaches, resorts, and markets. We were reminded several times it was Spring Break for all of Mexico that week. Many were there vacationing from metropolitan cities like Mexico City, where this swine flu origionated. Our last day on the cruise some of our family became sick, flu like sick. We thought it was because of the ship movement but could they have had the flu???? One of our sister-in-laws got really sick right when we returned and had to go in twice to the Dr. because she wasn't getting any better. She's OK now but had a pretty horrible week. Kinda freaky to think about all this spreading around. It got me thinking: About three weeks ago, right before we left on our trip, we were discussing our food storage in church and a lady in our ward mentioned we are more likely to NEED our food storage because of quarantining our family against diseases than natural disasters!!! WOW! What if we HAD to keep our children and husbands home from school and work and us mothers from the grocery stores so we didn't catch this thing???? Do we have enough food storage? In Mexico they've cancelled many schools and at most sporting events there were no spectators allowed.

The Skate Party

The school skate party was so much fun. The kids scooted and skated around the parking lot with the crowd and Bossy was thinking he was pretty hot stuff out there on his little 3-wheeler.

This picture makes me sad because Zhoee looks so much older than the three-year-old she is.
After riding his bike around and around Bostyn took a time out for his dinner. After his hot dog he curbed it and consumed his chips and pop as he watched all the other riders. How cute is he??? I always catch myself just watching him and being so entertained by little things he does.

Love those chips!!!

zHOEE with her dad! (he came right from the bank or he'd be in more leizurly attire)

Kelsie's girly shower

Kelsie came up North for a visit and she did pretty well for herself and her little baby at her TWO showers. The first was Friday night at my house and we sure had a house full guests and she recieved some of the cutest blankets, outfits, and girly dresses I have ever seen. I made up my mind there and then that I NEED to have another girl. The Trujillos hosted another shower on Saturday and Kelsie was again spoiled. (to say the least) Kelsie went home Sunday and I really miss her- 4 days is just not enough, especially when every few minutes she'd pull a funny, painful looking face and put her hand on her belly and we could feel that spoiled little baby's bum sticking out on one side. I LOVED it!!! We won't see her again until we have a new little neice and cousin. Kels, Thanks for coming for a visit! We had so much fun- and miss you already.

The fabulous diaper cake!!

Zhoee, of course, thought this party was for her and "helped" Kelsie open every present. She even begged to try on some of the dresses???? Crazy girl.

The Cruise

We returned last week from our nine days of relaxing, over-eating, laying out, walking the beach, enjoying shows, dressing up, snorkeling, swimming, hot tubbing, sleeping in, etc... It was a little hard to come back to reality but we were very ready to hug the kids. Here are just a few of the picture of our Mexican Riviera Cruise. We had such a great time!!!

My favorite part about this trip was my fun husband. It was so amusing to just listen to him speak spanish and kick it with the natives. He was always getting us killer deals on our souvoneirs, excursions, etc.. I would listen to him and he and the people he was talking with would laugh or whatever and I was always begging to be filled in with what they laughed about or what information he found out. It was so entertaining, I don't think I've really ever heard him carry on a conversation in Spanish until this trip.

On the deck-It was pretty windy!

We docked right by a huge air craft carrier

We loved our yummy breakfasts!

We woke up really early one morning to enjoy a sunrise on the ocean. We were up at 6:30am and after getting our hot chocolates we sat out on the very back of the ship and just relaxed and took pictures of the absolutely gorgeous sunrise!!!! How romantic!

En route to this tiny island that had some great snorkeling. It had tons of starfish, crabs, tropical fish and, get this, SEA LIONS. Yes, we've all seen sea lions- but, I thought it was quite the adventure to swim around with them. It was pretty freaky at first but they kinda just kept to themselves and we paddled along looking at the coral. This was such a fun trip.

With our g guide after we returned from our snorkeling adventure.

Taniel and I walking the beach in Mazatlan

Mazatlan In Mazatlan Bart and I took a catamaran over to Deer Island and spend a little while over there and walked around. The ride was so fun and the water was the perfect temperature.

Kinda corney picture, but we were excited.

We just HAD to stop and buy some candy for the kidos!

In Cabo we did the Zip lines tour. We completed 13 zip lines, repelling, a comando bridge over a river, and some rock climbing. It was quite a fun day; we were just sad we didn't get to see more of Cabo's beaches. (maybe another time)
